Scott Seger

Co-Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer

As the youngest in a family of eight competitive boys, Scott learned a broad set of skills and spent summers milling feed and gathering and packing eggs for Wabash Valley.  He graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Organization from the IU Kelley School of Business in 1986. 

Upon graduation, Scott moved straight into the family business in a plant production and quality assurance role, eventually assuming responsibilities for liquid egg production at Wabash Valley’s Indiana processing plant.  He added oversight of sales and procurement to his role in 2009, and presently, Scott oversees all liquid, frozen, dried and value-added egg product production and procurement across our operations in Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio. Scott also serves as President of Simple Transport.

Scott is past President of the Indiana State Poultry Association (ISPA), past Board member of the Egg Clearing house (ECI), and presently serves as Chairman of The United Egg Association (UEA).
