OUR LOCATIONS
Wabash Valley operates three independent, offline egg breaking and processing plants in Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio, with cage-free and conventional laying hen and pullet farms in these states.
Our business strategy is focused on diversification and risk mitigation to ensure a constant, uninterrupted supply of egg products to our customers. This instills confidence in the customers we serve and enhances and protects their brands.
We have consistently expanded, upgraded and automated Wabash Valley’s operations in recent years, and we continue to make significant investments to position the company for future growth and to take advantage of new markets and product development opportunities.
PRIDE IN FACILITIES AND FARMS
Wabash Valley places great importance in the way our facilities are designed, constructed, and maintained. We have a dedicated team of farm managers, operators, and shell egg quality personnel who all take tremendous pride in overseeing Wabash Valley farms and ensuring our commitment to animal welfare and food quality and safety.
We own and contract cage-free and conventional laying hens and pullet farms across the Midwest that provide the shell eggs to support our egg processing plants. 100% of our cage-free laying hens and pullets are American Humane and UEP Cage Free Certified, and all of our conventional laying hens and pullets are UEP Animal Care Certified. To protect our laying hens and pullets from infectious diseases, we have in place at all Wabash Valley farms and facilities strict biosecurity protocols and standards.
WABASH VALLEY
VERTICAL INTEGRATION
We operate a vertically integrated business model that differentiates Wabash Valley from many of its egg product competitors. This includes ownership and management of processing and production facilities, cage-free and conventional pullet and layer farms, feed manufacturing / grain purchasing, and transportation.
